This year our Incubation Program attracted over 2,000 applications. We are very grateful to all the applicants for their interest and time. We accepted 30 participants representing 17 countries. We have 21 participants in our core program, 6 individuals who will doregion-specific researchunder our mentorship, and 3 who have just started their own high-impact startups/foundations. It’s great to see so many people willing to put their time and ideas into projects that can make a real difference. With thousands of applications and participants from so many countries, the program clearly gives people a chance to learn, build, and try something new. That same sense of curiosity is part of what makes horror games enjoyable too, you step into something unfamiliar, explore it at your own pace, and see where it takes you.
This is an excellent rundown of the new cohort. I was particularly struck by the inclusion of projects like those focused on animal welfare and mental health, demonstrating a broad scope of impact. It's always inspiring to see innovative ideas taking flight, and the diversity of the selected participants suggests a rich year ahead for the program.
The fact that a significant number of these ventures are tackling complex global challenges is noteworthy. It makes me wonder about the long-term sustainability models these entrepreneurs are developing, especially those operating in resource-constrained environments.
