7:30–8:30 PM: Open networking session

CHARITIES

In 2019, Charity Entrepreneurship has recommended nine top charity ideas that, based on our research, have a high probability of becoming high-impact nonprofits in the animal and poverty cause areas. Through preparation provided by the incubation program, we have helped found five new charities and incubate one that began just before the program: Fish Welfare Initiative, Animal Advocacy Careers, Happier Lives Institute, two charities focused on tobacco control, and one on conditional cash transfers. They will all present at this event.

GOALS

This event is a unique opportunity to meet the founders of new impact-focused charities. They aim to be the next Against Malaria Foundation or The Humane League of charity world, and this is a perfect time to discuss, influence, and support their work and meet other funders, mentors, and individuals interested in the charity entrepreneurship space.

CHARITY ENTREPRENEURSHIP - INCUBATION PROGRAM

Between June 17 and August 16, 2019, Charity Entrepreneurship ran its first formal two-month charity incubation program, resulting in the foundation of five counterfactual new charities. Out of 145 applicants, after five application rounds, 13 were accepted and participated in the program. Learn more about their reasons for joining the program.
