Akhil is part of the research team, helping to identify evidence-based and cost-effective interventions for new charities to start. He has a particular interest in global health and development, as well as policy.
Akhil is a clinical doctor who has completed a degree in neuroscience and a Doctor of Medicine. Before working at Charity Entrepreneurship, Akhil was working in health consulting and policy, particularly regarding health system resilience and preparedness, at both Stanford Existential Risk Initiative and at Oxford Pharmagenesis. He also currently sits on the board of several healthcare not-for-profits. Akhil is passionate about helping healthcare professionals think about impact in their careers- he is a clinical lecturer in medical education at the University of Sydney, and has co-founded an organisation called High-Impact Medicine.
